x50
platform lift
Kalea’s best-selling home lift. The X50 pairs a platform with a full Infinity Glass Shaft as standard, for 360-degree panoramic views from anywhere in the car. Built in Sweden by Kalea, and supplied, installed and serviced across Western Australia by Lift Design.
Built For The Middle Of The Stairs
The X50 is Kalea’s best-selling range, and the one most often specified for a stairwell. It comes with a platform and a full Kalea Infinity Glass Shaft as standard across every trim: 2,000 mm glass sections joined by a micro separator, so the view stays unbroken through 360 degrees. Dropped into the void at the centre of a staircase, the lift reads as part of the circulation rather than an addition to it.
Finished shaft sizes run from 1000 x 900 mm to 1500 x 1400 mm across 41 sizes, with up to 73% of the footprint given over to standing space, enough to comfortably fit two to six people. Three trim levels are available, with an upgrade to Pro for those who prefer saloon doors. EcoSilent 2.0 technology is standard, for a smooth ride, lower maintenance and a lift built to last decades, and the Kalea installation process puts site work at 7 to 14 days depending on height and location. Every X50 is supplied, installed and serviced by Lift Design from our Perth and Albany workshops.

The Infinity Glass Shaft
Glass in 2,000 mm sections, joined by a micro separator so the panorama reads as one surface rather than a stack of panels.
The shaft is structural, so it arrives as prefabricated elements and needs no surrounding enclosure. Inside, a smart touchscreen control panel handles floor selection and a recessed LED ceiling lights the car. Doors can be placed on any side of the shaft except the machinery side. Trim runs from the standard line through to Pro, where saloon doors replace the standard door for a more finished look. Lift Design sets out the opening with your builder before anything is ordered.
