A geared electric cabin lift for homes where space is tight and quiet matters. The Monarch 400 carries 400 kg on a pit of just 200 mm and runs on ordinary 230 V single-phase power. Made in Italy, and supplied, installed and serviced across Western Australia by Lift Design.

The Monarch 400 is a compact, geared electric home lift engineered to overcome the structural challenges of existing properties. With a small footprint, a pit of just 200 mm and low headroom, it avoids major construction or disruptive architectural overhauls.
Its geared electric drive gives accurate landings, gentle starts and stops, and a smooth, quiet ride — with no hydraulic oil, pump room or tank to maintain. It runs on standard 230 V single-phase power at 0.5 kW, draws no more than a household appliance, and is rated better than Class A against the VDI 4707 guidelines. Travel reaches 24 metres with unlimited stops. Every Monarch 400 is supplied, installed and serviced by Lift Design from our Perth and Albany workshops.

Inside The Shaft
Travel of up to 24 metres, with unlimited stops.
The shaft is finished to suit your home, with panoramic glass walls and glass doors available as an option, specified per side — so the lift can be a feature in a stairwell or disappear into a wall.
An emergency UPS system lowers the car and keeps the light on during a power cut, and Braille buttons are standard on the car and landing panels. Lift Design sets out the shaft with your builder before anything is ordered.
